This season hasn't been kind to the Hershey Trojans, who are still winless after their seventh matchup. They took a hard 51-34 fall against Palmyra on Friday. Hershey has struggled against Palmyra recently, as their game on Friday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Addison Salus continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Palmyra, scoring 22 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Salus has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Keely Bowers, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and six assists.
Hershey bumped their record down to 0-7 with that defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Palmyra, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hershey will challenge Lebanon at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Lebanon presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Hershey in Pennsylvania (Lebanon is ranked 34th, while Hershey is ranked 606th). As for Palmyra, they will head out on the road to square off against Mifflin County at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
