Westview's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They blew past Valley Center 18-0. Considering the Wolverines have won nine matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Jacob Kuy made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2025.
