It was a good run, but Forsyth Central unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Monday. They fell 5-1 to the West Forsyth Wolverines. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolverines apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Forsyth Central's loss dropped their record down to 14-12. As for West Forsyth, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-10 record this season.

Forsyth Central will square off against South Forsyth at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. West Forsyth will be paying especially close attention to the Bulldogs' matchup: after the Bulldogs faces off against the War Eagles, they'll take on West Forsyth again at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
