With a playoff game on the line, the Wiregrass Ranch Bulls rose to the challenge on Friday. They strolled past Springstead with points to spare, taking the game 45-27. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Wiregrass Ranch.
Wiregrass Ranch got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Isaiah Riggins out in front who picked up 250 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Riggins' longest reception was for an incredible 85 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Knight, who threw for 253 yards and three touchdowns.
Wiregrass Ranch's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 46.8 points per game. As for Springstead, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4.
Wiregrass Ranch will head out on the road to face off against Lake Minneola at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Lake Minneola's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last seven matchups. Springstead does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
