If the Bethel Christian Kings were riding high off their 42-4 takedown of The Grove School Ravens on December 5th, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Bethel Christian was dealt a 49-3 defeat at the hands of Loma Linda Academy on Wednesday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Bethel Christian has scored all season.
Hailey Havlicheck was Bethel Christian's leading scorer, having posted two points.
Samantha Arellano held things down on the boards with ten rebounds.
Bethel Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Loma Linda Academy, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.
Bethel Christian won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Newbury Park Adventist at 12:00 p.m. on December 28th. Loma Linda Academy will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Public Safety Academy at 4:00 p.m. on January 9, 2024. Public Safety Academy comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 14 points in their last four games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
