Basketball Recap: Antelope Sets Scoring Season-High Against Grant

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Antelope). They came out on top against the Grant Pacers by a score of 84-71 on Wednesday. Winning may never get old, but the Titans sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Antelope to victory, but perhaps none more so than Londyn Odom, who posted 20 points. Tiana Spain was another key player, putting up 14 points.

Grant's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nerissa Hamilton, who put up 14 points in addition to five assists and five steals. Hamilton is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 13 games she's played. Another player making a difference was Jalaysia Clements, who had 13 points along with six assists and six boards.

Antelope has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.0 points per game. As for Grant, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-6 record this season.

Antelope wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 60-40 victory against Kennedy on the 21st. As for Grant, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, an 82-39 defeat against McClatchy on the 17th.
