Drew Charter entered their tilt with Miller Grove on Thursday with three consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Miller Grove Wolverines 30-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 24-1 last Tuesday.

Ellis Grega was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single walk, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in March of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

In other batting news, Joseph Richburg was a standout: he got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases, four runs, and five RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Cade Hudson, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, four runs, and four RBI.

Drew Charter always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .800. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .625 or higher in four consecutive matchups.

Drew Charter's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-5. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Miller Grove, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6.
