Linden has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will challenge the Weston Ranch Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
Linden suffered their biggest loss since November 20, 2023 on Tuesday. They were beaten by Stagg 66-20. Linden was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-9.
Weston Ranch can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They walked away with a 48-39 victory over Franklin. The victory was just what Weston Ranch needed coming off of a 55-32 loss in their prior matchup.
Linden's defeat was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-18. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 26.4 points per game. As for Weston Ranch, their victory ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-15.
Linden was taken down by Weston Ranch 70-12 in their previous matchup back in February of 2023. Thankfully for Linden, Janay Holmes (who scored 19 points along with six rebounds and two steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
