Daniel Polansky of Goodridge-Grygla Chargers ran for the longest rushing play in Top of the State (9 Man) this season against Badger/Greenbush-Middle River last week. Polansky scampered for 54 yards on the play and finished with 335 on the day as his team beat the Gators.
Stephen-Argyle Central extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Climax/Fisher, 48-39. The win marks fifth in a row for the the Storm.
Goodridge-Grygla Chargers' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Hunter McMillin threw for 60 yards and Carter Burks had 36 yards receiving. Tra Alderete helped Goodridge-Grygla Chargers' passing attack out by catching two balls for 26 yards.
Goodridge-Grygla Chargers' offense has been unstoppable this season and the Chargers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. McMillin has thrown for 297 yards and three touchdowns this season, while Burks has five catches for 109 yards. Polansky leads the league in rushing with 1330 yards.
The marquee game in Top of the State (9 Man) this week will be the clash between Stephen-Argyle Central and Kittson Central. Mark Kroulik's team enters the contest ranked 21st in the state, while the Wolfpack ranks 13th.
Clearbrook-Gonvick and Sacred Heart played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Clearbrook-Gonvick eventually emerging with a 10-7 victory.
