The Ridgeview Wolf Pack will take on the Frontier Titans at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
Ridgeview took a six-run loss the last time they faced off against Atascadero, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Wolf Pack sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-5 win over the Greyhounds on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wolf Pack have posted since June 7, 2025.

Gabriel Stevens

| 03/12/26 @ Templeton | 1 |
| 02/28/26 @ Garces Memorial | 1 |

| 05/07/25 @ Highland | 1 |
Ridgeview got a big performance out of Gabriel Stevens, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Those two RBI gave Stevens a new career-high. Martin Castro was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Frontier hadn't beaten Clovis North on the road since March 1, 2022 but that history sure didn't bother them on Tuesday. The Titans had just enough and edged out the Broncos 5-4.
Matthew Montes tossed a big game, tossing five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Frontier is 2-1 when he allows at most two walks, but 2-3-1 otherwise.
At the plate, Ronnie Machado and Jaylen Tia did most of the damage at the plate: Machado went 2-for-3 with two runs, while Tia went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Machado has become a key player for Frontier: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 1-3-1 otherwise. Michael Lievanos also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Ridgeview has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Frontier, the victory got them back to even at 4-4-1.
Ridgeview skirted past Frontier 9-7 in their previous matchup back in March of 2025. Do the Wolf Pack have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Titans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
