Evans has been consistent recently: he hasn't  tossed less than seven  strikeouts in four consecutive pitching appearances. Evans was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-3 with three  RBI and a  double.
 Evans wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Bryce Bause, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
 Stockbridge's loss  ended  a  three-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 11-7. As for Lovett, the  victory was  the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-7.
 Stockbridge will head out on the road to  challenge  Pace Academy at 5:55  p.m.  on Thursday. Pace Academy is coming into the  contest with seven straight  wins at home,  so Stockbridge will have to stop a  squad with plenty of momentum. Lovett will take on Mt. Zion at 5:55  p.m.  on Monday.
