The Lincoln Lions were the 44-43 winner over the Santa Teresa Saints when they last played one another on January 4th, but their luck changed this time around. Lincoln took a 44-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of Santa Teresa.
Santa Teresa's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Nevaeh Lacy led the charge by scoring 20 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Dahlia Daboul, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds.
Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Santa Teresa, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-7.
Lincoln will be playing in front of their home fans against Oak Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Oak Grove will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. As for Santa Teresa, they will head out on the road to challenge Piedmont Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
