Rialto has been on the road for two straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Jurupa Hills Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Rialto is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Jurupa Hills in California (Rialto is ranked 66th, while Jurupa Hills is ranked 1235th).
Last Saturday, Rialto earned a 53-42 win over King/Drew.
Carrington Davis was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 28 points and 18 rebounds. That makes it seven consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Rialto's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Destiny Rabino, who scored 15 points.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Jurupa Hills, who are still winless after their 11th matchup. They suffered a rough 58-35 loss at the hands of Fontana on Thursday. Jurupa Hills has not had much luck with Fontana recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Rialto has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-2 record this season. As for Jurupa Hills, they bumped their record down to 0-11 with that loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.
Everything came up roses for Rialto against Jurupa Hills when the teams last played back in January of 2023 as the team secured a 56-28 victory. Does Rialto have another victory up their sleeve, or will Jurupa Hills turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
