On the hitting side, Odessa got a massive performance out of Keely Byrd, who went 3-for-5 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. Those three RBI gave Byrd a new career-high. Jordyn Beal was another key player, going 3-for-5 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Odessa was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .422. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Harrisonville only posted a batting average of .286.
Meanwhile, Oak Grove posted their closest victory since September 26th on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Warrensburg 20-18.
