The McNair Eagles will face off against the Edison Vikings at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. McNair is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.
Thursday just wasn't the day for McNair's offense. They came up short against Franklin on Thursday, falling 11-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Eagles were not able to get on the board.

Manny Moreira
| 03/19/26 @ Franklin | 1 |
| 03/16/26 @ Millennium | 1 |
| 03/12/26 @ Tokay | 3 |
McNair saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Manny Moreira, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. Moreira is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Max Heung also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Edison). Everything went their way against Millennium on Monday as they made off with a 14-1 victory. Considering the Vikings have won six matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Izaak Navarrete made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Navarrete was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
In other batting news, Edison got a massive performance out of Roman Stewart, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three stolen bases, four runs, and one triple. Issac Stewart was another key player, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
Edison always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .581. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2025.
The win made it two in a row for Edison and bumps their season record up to 8-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for McNair, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.
McNair suffered a grim 10-3 defeat to Edison when the teams last played back in April of 2025. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
