After two games on the road, Corning is heading back home. They will take on the Pierce Bears at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Corning can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent contest on Thursday. They never let Oroville onto the board and left with a 9-0 win. It was an even better day for Jackie Hernandez as she scored four goals for her team.
Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Pierce was forced to settle for a draw. They and Willows finished up their game with a 2-2 draw.
The victory got Corning back to even at 8-8-1. Pierce's draw gives them a new season record of 4-13-1.
