The Thousand Oaks Lancers's game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Agoura 63-21 on the road. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 36-6.
Amanda Wang had an outrageously good game as she went 6 for 10 from beyond the arc en route to 25 points and 2 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Mila-Nai Colon Yau, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
Thousand Oaks' win bumped their record up to 12-14. As for Agoura, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-25.
Thousand Oaks will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Newbury Park at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Newbury Park focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Tuesday. As for Agoura, they will head out on the road to challenge Calabasas at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Agoura is coming into the matchup with nine straight defeats on the road, meaning Calabasas will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win.
