The Buena Bulldogs lost against the Arroyo Grande Eagles back in February of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Buena took a 46-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of Arroyo Grande. Buena has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Buena saw an underclassman step up: Karisma Lewis scored 28 points along with seven rebounds. Lewis scored a full 71.8% of Buena's points, the seventh time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Skye Thomas, who scored five points along with seven rebounds.
Buena has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season. As for Arroyo Grande, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Ventura is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 65.5 points per game.
