The Norristown Eagles's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Chester Clippers at 6:00 p.m. on December 28th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Pennsylvania (Norristown is ranked 379th, while Chester is ranked 397th).
Last Friday, Norristown lost to East on the road by a decisive 49-34 margin.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Chester, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 50-34 loss to Radnor on Wednesday. Chester has struggled against Radnor recently, as their game on Wednesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite their defeat, Chester saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Imani Dorsey, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and three steals, was perhaps the best of all. The matchup was Dorsey's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Shyne Hall, who scored nine points along with four steals.
Norristown now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Chester, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
Norristown strolled past Chester when the teams last played back in December of 2022 by a score of 52-38. Will Norristown repeat their success, or does Chester have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
