Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Early County Bobcats walked away with it. They walked away with a 43-34 victory over Emanuel County Institute on Friday. This was one game where the offenses had no trouble playing at a high level.
Tycavion Stovall was his usual excellent self, rushing for 314 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 10.8 yards per carry. Stovall is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last four games he's played.
The victory makes it two in a row for Early County and bumps their season record up to 8-4. As for Emanuel County Institute, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.
Early County will square off against Schley County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Schley County is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. Emanuel County Institute does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
