Amherst had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Ravenna Bluejays. The matchup marked the Broncos' most dominant win of the season so far.

Amherst never let Ravenna on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-17, 27-25.

Amherst was led to victory by Kenna Hagan and Breckyn Layne Veskerna. Hagan had 15 assists and four digs, while Layne Veskerna had eight digs and three assists. Mackenzie Cochran also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Amherst's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Ravenna, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Looking ahead, Amherst will head out on the road to face off against Sumner-Eddyville-Miller at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ravenna, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Deshler on the 13th.
