While Sumner-Fredericksburg put up some runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for St. Ansgar. The Cougars put the hurt on the Saints with a sharp 10-0 victory. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by six runs or more this season.

The win (which was Sumner-Fredericksburg's fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-9. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for St. Ansgar, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season.

Sumner-Fredericksburg has already played their next contest, a 15-1 win against Turkey Valley on the 1st. As for St. Ansgar, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 4-3 loss against Central Springs on the 30th.
