The Northeastern Bobcats put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 45-36 win over Kennard-Dale. Despite the win, that was the fewest points Northeastern has scored all season.
It was another big night for Colleen Finnegan, who scored 20 points. The contest was her fifth in a row with at least ten points. Paige Reichard was another key contributor, scoring six points along with six assists and four steals.
Northeastern pushed their record up to 8-0 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Kennard-Dale, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Northeastern will finish 2023 at home by hosting Conestoga Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Conestoga Valley will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 465th, while Northeastern is ranked 56th). Kennard-Dale will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Gettysburg at 7:30 p.m. on January 8, 2024.
