While losing is never fun, Lassen can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 664th, while Anderson is ranked 304th).
Several Grizzlies players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Mili Crosno, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and two blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Kinley Somerville, who scored nine points along with five steals.
Lassen has been struggling recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season. As for Anderson, their win bumped their record up to 19-5.
Lassen will be playing in front of their home fans against University Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. University Prep is coming into the match hot, having won their last five games. As for Anderson, they will head out on the road to square off against Central Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Central Valley has now lost 13 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 11.
