Paige Wentworth posted a new career-high in runs on Tuesday. She scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Wentworth's strong effort led Lambert over Forsyth Central and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Longhorns are 9-1 against the Bulldogs going back to September of 2022, a lead they'll look to extend.
