The Chavez Titans will head out on the road to face off against the Natomas Nighthawks at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Chavez couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They were dealt a 60-24 loss at the hands of El Capitan on Monday. Chavez was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-11.
Meanwhile, everything went Natomas' way against Galt on Monday as Natomas made off with a 52-27 win.
Natomas got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Sa'Nia Dixon out in front who scored 13 points. Anastajia "Anna" Elkins was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Chavez's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Natomas, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
