Steel Valley is 1-9 against Seton LaSalle since December of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Steel Valley Ironmen will head out on the road to square off against the Seton LaSalle Rebels at 5:30 p.m. Steel Valley has now lost 14 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 6.
Last Monday, Steel Valley had to suffer through a rough 78-23 loss at the hands of Brashear.
After soaring to a 36-point victory in their last game, Seton LaSalle came back down to earth on Monday. They fell just short of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart by a score of 40-37. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Seton LaSalle has scored all season.
Steel Valley dropped their record down to 1-16 with that loss, which was their seventh straight on the road. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 20.3 points per game. As for Seton LaSalle, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-5.
Steel Valley was taken down by Seton LaSalle 63-32 in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. Can Steel Valley avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
