When it comes to explaining why Sage Creek lost, one person who can't be blamed is Harmony Lawler. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 15 points and 18 rebounds. Lawler is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. Addison Femrite was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with six rebounds.
Carlsbad's win bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Sage Creek, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-7 record this season.
