South Cobb has gone a perfect 10-0 against Osborne recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Eagles will be playing at home against the Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. South Cobb is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.2 runs per game this season.
South Cobb will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one run two weeks ago, then bounced right back against Mays on Monday. The Eagles put the hurt on the Raiders with a sharp 23-1 victory.

Kennedi Williams was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, she posted three strikeouts, the most she's had since back in August of 2024. She was even better at the plate, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs, three RBI, and one stolen base.
In other batting news, South Cobb got a massive performance out of Gabby Kitchens, who fired off three triples, eight RBI, and two stolen bases while going 4-for-4. That's the most hits Kitchens has posted since back in August. Another player making a difference was Tellann Brown, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with five stolen bases and three runs.
South Cobb hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They are 3-1 when they post two or more strikeouts.
Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three games, Osborne finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They lost 20-1 to Campbell. The Cardinals have struggled against the Spartans recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Osborne's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for South Cobb, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-15.
South Cobb took their victory against Osborne when the teams last played back in August by a conclusive 22-2 score. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Cardinals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
