After both having extra time off, the Blair County Christian Bobcats and the Bedford County CIA Agents will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Blair County Christian's defense has only allowed 24.3 points per game this season, so Bedford County CIA's offense will have their work cut out for them.
Last Friday, Blair County Christian made easy work of Centre County Christian Academy and carried off a 39-18 victory. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Bobcats just coasted through the last quarter.

It was another big night for Gabi Dull, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 8.2 boards per game. Rylie Oldham was another key player, putting up six points and nine steals.
Blair County Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in seven consecutive matchups dating back to last season.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Bedford County CIA beat Legacy Christian Academy 23-18 on December 13th. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Agents.
Bedford County CIA's win came from a few key players Blair County Christian will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Madison Cotchen, who posted eight points along with five rebounds and three blocks. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Betsy Brennan was another key player, posting no points along with five boards, four steals, and three blocks.
Blair County Christian's record is now 5-1. As for Bedford County CIA, their record now sits at 2-3.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Blair County Christian has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 30.3 boards per game. However, it's not like Bedford County CIA struggles in that department as they've been averaging 33.4 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Everything went Blair County Christian's way against Bedford County CIA in their previous meeting back in February, as Blair County Christian made off with a 44-22 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Blair County Christian since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
