Orange Cove suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Friday. They were dealt a 59-13 loss at the hands of Lindsay. Orange Cove has struggled against Lindsay recently, as their matchup on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Orosi didn't have too much trouble with Granite Hills on the road on Friday as they won 51-33. The win was just what Orosi needed coming off of a 52-27 loss in their prior game.
Orange Cove bumped their record down to 0-18 with that loss, which was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Orosi, their victory bumped their record up to 6-13.
Orange Cove opened the new year with a less-than-successful 38-27 defeat to Orosi. Can Orange Cove avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
