There's no place like home for Adairsville, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They put the hurt on the LaFayette Ramblers with a sharp 9-2 win on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won six matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Adairsville pushed their record up to 13-7 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for LaFayette, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-12.

Adairsville will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Ramblers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
