Moore Haven had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came out on top against the Frostproof Bulldogs by a score of 61-49. This was payback for the Terriers, who suffered a 61-46 loss the last time these two teams met.

Frostproof lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jden Plain, who posted 11 points. Maurice Blakely was another key player, putting up 12 points and three steals.

Moore Haven's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Frostproof, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.

Moore Haven wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 55-35 victory against Mulberry on the 21st. As for Frostproof, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lake Placid at 7:30 p.m. on January 3rd. Frostproof is facing Lake Placid at the right time seeing as Lake Placid is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
