Rock Canyon proved they can win big on Friday (they won by 12) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the ThunderRidge Grizzlies 11-10. Winning may never get old, but the Jaguars sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Avery Cochran was a standout: she got on base in four of her five plate appearances with two runs and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Lucy Longmire, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
Rock Canyon hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as ThunderRidge struck out nine times.
