Carthage came tearing into Friday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Gilmer Buckeyes a 13-0 shutout. The game snapped a strange streak: the last three times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.
