Texas High School Baseball - Carthage wallops Gilmer
March 28, 2025: Carthage, TX 75633 The Carthage Bulldogs baseball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Gilmer Buckeyes to 0 in the Bulldogs league win on Friday.
The Bulldogs now own a 8-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Spring Hill for a 4A Region II District 16 test on Tuesday, April 1. Carthage will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 6-1 league win over Pine Tree (Longview, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 16-7.
With the defeat, Gilmer drops to 9-7 on the year. The Buckeyes travel to Cumberland Academy (Tyler, TX) to clash with the Knights in a test on Tuesday, April 1. The Knights go into the test with a record of 1-15. Cumberland Academy lost 12-0 in their recent league test against Kilgore (Kilgore, TX)
