March 4, 2025: Longview, TX 75605 The Spring Hill Panthers (Longview, TX) baseball trounced the visiting Gilmer Buckeyes (Gilmer, TX), 17-7 in Tuesday's league challenge.
The Panthers now own a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to China Spring for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 6. Spring Hill will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Brewer (Fort Worth, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 5-1.
With the defeat, Gilmer drops to 4-4 on the year. The Buckeyes travel to Chapel Hill (Tyler, TX) to clash with the Bulldogs in a 4A Region II District 16 challenge on Friday, March 14. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a record of 3-7.
