Mercersburg Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Annie Mohr led the charge by scoring 19 points along with six rebounds and two blocks. It was the first time this season that Mohr posted two or more blocks. Another player making a difference was Madison Goodhart, who scored 12 points along with four steals.
Mercersburg Academy has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. As for GVCS Broadfording, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 17-8.

As for GVCS Broadfording, they and Faith Christian Academy will face off at 5:30 p.m. on February 5th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. GVCS Broadfording is facing Faith Christian Academy at the right time seeing as Faith Christian Academy is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
