Chaparral lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Heritage, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Monday's   matchup. The Wolverines put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp  13-1 win on Monday. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Wolverines.

 On the hitting side,  Keegan Freitas was a standout: she went 1-for-2 with three  runs, one  triple,  and one  RBI. Those  three  runs gave  her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Brooklyn Karjala, who  got on base  in three of her four plate appearances with one  triple, one  run,  and one  RBI.
 Chaparral  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Heritage only managed three.
Chaparral's record is now 11-9. As for Heritage, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost nine of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record  this season.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Chaparral is set to  square off against  their familiar foe Legend  at 3:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Heritage will  challenge  rival Regis Jesuit  at 3:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
