Cache lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Purcell, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's matchup. The Bulldogs' pitchers stepped up to hand the Dragons a 12-0 shutout on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won four games by ten runs or more so far this season.

Cache is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season. As for Purcell, they dropped their record down to 2-8 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Cache didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 1-0 loss against Alva on the 22nd. As for Purcell, they have also already played their next game, a 6-0 defeat against Duncan on the 22nd.
