Waterville-Elysian-Morristown put the finishing touches on their 5th blowout victory of the season on Friday. They took the matchup and then some with a 38-0 victory over Maple River. The victory was familiar territory for Waterville-Elysian-Morristown, who now have six in a row.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Waterville-Elysian-Morristown take on Sibley East at 7:00 PM. Sibley East took a loss in their last match and are no doubt out to reverse Waterville-Elysian-Morristown's good fortune. Maple River will be staying on the road, facing off against Le Sueur-Henderson. Maple River have seen their point totals decreasing over the past three games, a vulnerability Le Sueur-Henderson are surely hoping to exploit.
