Amiyya went 8-for-17 on her way to 23 points and three steals, while Rayleen shot 42% from the field en route to 14 points in addition to six rebounds and six steals. Amiyya's big performance that evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 17 points. Another player making a difference was Lilly Opper, who posted six points and three steals.
Verdugo Hills was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Kennedy only eight assists.
When it comes to explaining why Kennedy lost, don't look at Andreya Villa. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double with 18 points and 19 boards. Villa is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last eight games she's played.
