The Entrepreneur Panthers will play host again and welcome the Calvary Baptist Cougars, where tip off is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Entrepreneur comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 14 points in their last seven games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 56-13, which was the final score in Entrepreneur's tilt against San Jacinto Leadership Academy back in December of 2023. Entrepreneur was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-3.
Meanwhile, Calvary Baptist was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 29-25 to Bethel Christian. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Calvary Baptist in their matchups with Bethel Christian: they've now lost nine in a row.
Entrepreneur's defeat was their fifth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 0-7. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 7.4 points per game. As for Calvary Baptist, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.
