After losing to the Kutztown Cougars the last time they met, the Upper Perkiomen Indians decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Upper Perkiomen walked away with a 51-42 win over Kutztown on Saturday.
Erin States continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 20 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Upper Perkiomen's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Natalie Kearney, who scored 9 points.
The win got Upper Perkiomen back to even at 2-2. As for Kutztown, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Upper Perkiomen will square off against Quakertown at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Kutztown, they will head out on the road to face off against Pequea Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
