Sage Creek and Bonita Vista squared off in some playoff action  on Friday, but Sage Creek had to settle for second. They fell  7-2 to the Barons. The Bobcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Barons apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in May of 2019.
 Josh Schutz was a  force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he  tossed five innings while giving up just two earned runs off   five  hits.
 At the plate,  Josh Wilson and  Lucas Henson stepped up to the plate in a big way.  Wilson  got on base  in all four of his plate appearances with one  triple and one  run, while  Henson  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with two  stolen bases.
Sage Creek has  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-14 record  this season. As for Bonita Vista, their victory bumped their record up to 12-19.
As of now, neither Sage Creek nor the Barons have any future games scheduled.
