The Williams Yellowjackets will head out on the road to square off against the Paradise Bobcats at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Thursday, Williams was able to grind out a solid victory over Maxwell, taking the game 4-2. That's two games straight that Williams has won by exactly two goals.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Isabella Santillan and
Daisy Ruiz, who scored all four of Williams' goals. The pair have combined for a total of 26 so far this season.
Meanwhile, Paradise kept a clean sheet against Maxwell on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over the Panthers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Paradise.
Williams' victory bumped their record up to 6-7-3. As for Paradise, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4-2 record this season.
