The Convent of the Sacred Heart Cubs were the 44-38 winner over the San Francisco Waldorf Wolverines when they last played one another back in November of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Convent of the Sacred Heart's tough 48-23 loss to San Francisco Waldorf on Wednesday might stick with them for a while. Convent of the Sacred Heart has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
San Francisco Waldorf's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Henry Hanlon, who scored 16 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Hanlon has scored at least 25% of San Francisco Waldorf's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aasia Williams, who scored 15 points.
Convent of the Sacred Heart's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for San Francisco Waldorf, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Convent of the Sacred Heart will take on Head-Royce at 4:30 p.m. on December 7th. San Francisco Waldorf is on the road again on Tuesday and play against The Nueva School at 5:00 p.m. on December 5th.
