The Live Oak Lions came tearing into Tuesday's match with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.1 goals) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past Pierce 11-2. It was an even better day for Mckayla Holmen as she scored six goals for her team.
Live Oak has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-1-1 record this season. As for Pierce, their loss dropped their record down to 4-13.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Live Oak will challenge Winters at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Live Oak is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Pierce, they will head out on the road to face off against Willows at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
