Liberty has won seven straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Arbor View has won seven straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Liberty is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Nevada's top teams: Coronado, who was ranked 19th at the time (Liberty was ranked third). The Patriots put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 42-21 victory back in October. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Selby Griego had a dynamite game, throwing for 221 yards and three TDs, while also rushing for 73 yards and one touchdown. Those three passing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Anthony Alberro, who rushed for 121 yards and one score.
Liberty's run defense was locked in: Coronado could only muster 2.2 yards per carry. The team can thank Carter Christensen for the heroic effort on defense: he. Liberty's run defense has been on the up-and-up: they allowed 4.6 yards per carry earlier this season, but they've only allowed 11.03 on average over their last five games.
Liberty didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Rysen Dacosin-Arcala led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself. He is on a roll when it comes to interceptions, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Arbor View). They simply couldn't be stopped back in October as they easily beat Las Vegas 57-28. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 50-14.
The match pitted two dominant signal callers against one another in Thaddeus Thatcher and Tanner Vibabul. Thatcher had a great game and threw for 307 yards and four touchdowns while completing 84.2% of his passes. Meanwhile, Vibabul was balling out in the loss, rushing for 114 yards and one TD on only six carries, while also throwing for 127 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
Liberty's win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Arbor View, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.
Liberty couldn't quite finish off Arbor View in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 and fell 31-28. Can the Patriots avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
