Sherman Oaks CES strolled past Sun Valley Magnet with points to spare, taking the game 45-27. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Sherman Oaks CES.
Sherman Oaks CES's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kendall Gohata-Chan led the charge by scoring 15 points along with 5 assists and 4 steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Gohata-Chan has scored at least 25% of Sherman Oaks CES's points. Another player making a difference was Neriah Adjei, who scored 12 points.
The win got Sherman Oaks CES back to even at 2-2. As for Sun Valley Magnet, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
